I should not be allowed to watch Doctor Who because the ships that most interest me are: (a) the ships that the narrative discourages me from sexualizing (twelve/clara) (b) the ships that the narrative tells me I am not supposed to view romantically (ten/donna) and the (c) the ships that I am not supposed to perceive/consider at all because they exist only in my mind and are problematic in multiple ways. (not even going to mention it because I'm so ashamed).
